xcPEP Acceptable Use Policy

 

1. Purpose and Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the acceptable and prohibited uses of the xcPEP SaaS service and its associated resources provided by Advanced Structures India Private Limited. This policy applies to all customers and their authorized users of the xcPEP platform. Adherence to this AUP is a condition of using our services.

2. General Principles

  • Users must utilize the service solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with the terms of their agreement with Advanced Structures India Private Limited.
  • Users must respect the intellectual property rights of Advanced Structures India Private Limited and third parties.
  • Users must not interfere with the normal operation, security, or integrity of the xcPEP service or other users' experience.

3. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited when using the xcPEP service:

  • Illegal Activities: Engaging in any activity that is illegal or facilitates illegal activities, including but not limited to fraud, harassment, defamation, distribution of child pornography, or infringement of intellectual property rights.
  • Security Violations:
    • Unauthorized access to any system, data, or network, including attempts to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of a system or network.
    • Distributing or introducing malware, viruses, worms, or any other harmful code.
    • Conducting denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks or any other actions that could disrupt the service.
    • Circumventing or attempting to circumvent any security measures implemented by Advanced Structures India Private Limited.
  • Spamming and Unsolicited Communications: Sending unsolicited commercial emails ("spam"), bulk advertising, or any other form of mass unsolicited communication.
  • Abuse of System Resources: Using the service in a manner that consumes excessive system resources (e.g., CPU, memory, bandwidth) beyond fair usage or agreed-upon capacity, causing degradation of service for other users.
  • Impersonation: Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Data Harvesting: Collecting or harvesting any information from the service without explicit authorization.
  • Fraudulent Activities: Engaging in any fraudulent activity, including phishing, deceptive practices, or creating false identities.

4. Data Content Restrictions

Users must not upload, post, transmit, or store any content that:

  • Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Infringes upon the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of any third party.
  • Contains malicious code or software.

5. Compliance with Laws

Users are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of the xcPEP service complies with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.

6. Enforcement

Advanced Structures India Private Limited reserves the right to take appropriate action, including but not limited to:

  • Issuing warnings.
  • Suspending or terminating access to the service.
  • Removing content.
  • Reporting violations to law enforcement authorities.

We reserve the right to investigate and cooperate with law enforcement authorities regarding any alleged violations of this AUP.

7. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to our support team immediately at [email protected] or through our dedicated support portal.

8. Policy Review and Updates

This xcPEP Acceptable Use Policy is reviewed periodically and may be updated by Advanced Structures India Private Limited without prior notice. Continued use of the service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
